Environment

Mobis Slovakia is a production plant focused on the production of parts, components and accessories for the global automotive industry, and therefore we consider care for the environment and its protection to be an integral part of all our activities. Our goal is not only to preserve, but also to improve its quality with respect to all living organisms, by constantly adhering to the principles of sustainable development. We are part of the Hyundai Mobis corporation, which is committed to activities within the framework of environmental management system. In 2020, the implementation of the environmental management system according to the international standard ISO 14001, which leads us to achieve common goals in the field of environmental protection, such as the prevention of pollution, accidents, risks mitigation, minimizing the environmental impacts of production processes and the continuous improvement of our environmental performance.

  • Mobis Slovakia operates several sources of air pollution and emissions from them are regularly controlled by an authorized measuring group in accordance with the applicable legislation.
  • The premises and surroundings of the plant are in accordance with the applicable legislation regularly monitored on the basis of the project “Monitoring of groundwater, surface and wastewater,” which has long proven stable values of the monitored parameters.
  • In the field of waste management, in accordance with the waste management hierarchy of the Slovak Republic, we focus on consistent sorting of individual types of waste and prefer the possibility of their recovery rather than disposal.
  • Mobis Slovakia has issued integrated permit: Brake hall – technological equipment for surface treatments, which is supervised by the Slovak Environmental Inspectorate.
