Investment in Innovation and the Future

On Monday, April 7, 2025, Mobis Slovakia marked another significant milestone. At the plant premises in Gbeľany, in the presence of the company’s management, the first pillar of the new production hall CPP2 (Component Preparation Plant 2) was laid. This significant investment will strengthen the company’s production capacity and contribute to the development of the automotive industry in Slovakia as well as the entire region.

Production in the new CPP2 hall is scheduled to start in 2026 and will be used for the manufacturing of important automotive components, specifically airbags, rear electronic drum brakes, and electronic stability control (ESC) systems. The hall will cover an area of 20,000 square meters, which demonstrates the scale of this project. Modern premises will ensure premium conditions for production and employees.

“The laying of the first pillar of the CPP2 hall is an important step forward for Mobis Slovakia,” said the company’s President, Kang Shin Young. “This modern production facility will enable us to strengthen our capacities in the production of high-quality automotive components using the latest technologies. Our goal remains an innovative approach and top-level production.”
